A Typical Nursery Day
When the children arrive in class they will: 
- Hang up their belongings on their pegs
- Explore the provision and greet their friends

Sound Explorers (Squirrels and Hedgehogs have separate inputs)
Daily Little Wandle Foundations for nursery aged children. Foundations has been developed in a range of settings by a range of practitioners. It incorporates the latest research about early language and literacy development so you can trust that you’re spending your time doing the things that make the biggest difference.
Discovery Time
The children can explore the classroom - they will be able to use the enhanced provision that is set up to encourage learning and inspire imaginations and creativity inside and outside.
Snack time
STEAM learning or Drawing Club
STEAM - Each term the children are introduced to learning following the ambitious GLF Curriculum. Questions are posed to challenge children's thinking and curiosity, developing their knowledge and understanding.
Drawing Club - We develop our fine motor skills and take part in different whole body warm up activities.
We then have a weekly challenge linked to a specific pre-writing shape or pattern.

Spanish
Lunchtime
The children have lunch together in their class (Squirrels) or the Atrium (Hedgehogs) enjoying either a packed lunch from home or a school dinner.
Afternoon Register
Mathematicians
The children will collectively join in with some maths activities – singing number songs, exploring shapes and pattern and challenging themselves with weight and measure.

Singing and Milk
Story and celebrations
The children will share a story on the carpet before home time. Throughout the term, carefully selected stories are read from CLPE's 'Power of Reading' approach to develop children’s comprehension and vocabulary.
Home time - The doors will open for children to be collected!
