Meet the Team
Miss Sara Kennard
I have been teaching for 19 years, with the past nine of those spent leading the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS). My journey into early education began quite unexpectedly, when I was asked to cover a maternity leave in EYFS after previously teaching in Key Stage 1 and 2. From the very first weeks, I fell in love with the unique joy, excitement, and energy that comes with working with our youngest learners and I have never looked back since.
EYFS is my favourite age group to teach because the amount of growth and development that takes place in these formative years is simply incredible. Children arrive curious and eager to explore, and every day brings new discoveries, skills, and achievements. It is a privilege to be part of the very beginning of a child’s school journey, helping to nurture their love of learning and watching their confidence grow as they take their first steps in education.
I am proud to be part of Banstead Infant School, a truly special place where children are encouraged, supported, and celebrated for who they are. Our setting is warm, inclusive, and nurturing, with a strong sense of community that ensures every child feels safe and valued. I look forward to welcoming you and your child into our school family and working together to give them the very best start in their education.
Outside of school, I like to keep active and I have two wonderful dogs who love to join me on long walks. I also enjoy going to the gym, with spin classes being my favourite way to switch off after a busy day. When I’m not walking or spinning, I love catching up with friends and family.
Mrs Sarah Clowes-Pritchard
I have over 12 years’ experience working in Early Years. I’m HLTA and Level 3 qualified, and I live locally in Banstead. As a mum of two, one at university and one at secondary school. I understand the joys and challenges of family life, and I’m passionate about nurturing children to grow in confidence, develop independence, and thrive in their early learning. At home, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, socialising, and walking our dog, Peggy. I’m really looking forward to working with you and your little ones here at Banstead Infants Nursery.

As a mum of three energetic boys who all play rugby, I bring patience, energy and a strong understanding of child development to my role every day.
Miss Amara Wilson
I am a Level 3 Nursery Practitioner, who has been working with early years children since 2023. Working with children from 6 months through to 5 years old has given me to opportunity to understand the importance of nurturing each stage of their development, fostering curiosity, building emotional security, and supporting their individual growth through play, communication, and consistent care. Working at Banstead Infant School Nursery is a new and exciting experience for me, allowing me share my experiences and work as a team for the benefit of the children.
In my free time I like to go to the cinema, bake yummy treats and enjoy being with my family.
