A variety of after-school and lunchtime clubs are offered. One is run free of charge by the local church, others are run by teachers, a teaching assistant or external providers. There is also a free multi-skills club that runs every week for a class at lunchtime.
The Educational trips and in school workshops bring learning to life, create memorable experiences and are an essential part of personal development for all pupils. We choose visits that allow classes to build a deeper understanding of a particular subject, such as Bodiam Castle,
Forest School takes place 3 times week for 9 children from each year group for a 6 week period. Our Forest School is a child-centred inspirational learning process, that offers opportunities for holistic growth, play, exploration and supported risk taking. It develops confidence and self-esteem through learner inspired, hands-on experiences in a natural setting.
Year 2 children participate in the May Queen Country Dancing each year, as well as singing at the local residential homes.
