Nursery funding codes - September 2025
15 or 30 hour funding codes - September 2025
ALL children are eligible for 15 hours of Nursery funding a week from the term after they turn 3 years old, this is called the "universal offer". Working parents of 3- and 4-year-olds may be eligible for an extended entitlement of an additional 15 hours (often called 30 hours childcare).
From September 2025, working parents of 2-year-olds may also be eligible for 30 hours a week of nursery funding from the term after their child turns 9 months old.
Please check your eligibility here.
Some families of 2-year-olds may also be eligible for 15 hours of funding from the term after they turn 2 - this is called FEET/Disadvantage Funding. Please go to the Local Authority Website and search for 2-year-old funding for details on eligibility and how to apply online.
You should apply for your code even if you don’t think at this stage you want to use it. Things might change and the code is only valid from the term after you apply.
For example:
Apply for your code and receive it by 31st August 2025 – use it from 1st September 2025 onwards.
Apply for your code and receive it by 31st December 2025 - use it from 1st January 2026 onwards.
Apply for your code and receive it by 31st March 2026 - use it from 1st April 2026 onwards.
We will need to check codes before the end of the summer term so please let us have your code before 14th July 2025.
